SPaCS is pleased to announce the National Computer Quiz for Secondary Schools in Fiji again this year, after a very successful event last year. The Quiz this year is called "SPaCS Computer Quiz 2014".

The computer quiz will be held on Saturday, 20th September, 2014 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am (Fiji Standard Time) at the respective USP Campuses in Cook Islands (Rarotonga), Kiribati, Samoa (Alafua), Solomon Islands (Honiara), Tonga, Vanuatu (Emalus) and Fiji (Laucala, Lautoka and Labasa). Attractive prizes for winning schools and students are up for grabs and all participating students will also receive certificates of participation. There is NO registration fee in this competition. The online Quiz will include 50 multiple-choice questions based on the following general topics: Computer Basics & History, Computer Hardware & Software, Information Systems, Systems Analysis & Design, Word Processing & Spreadsheets, Data Communications, Database Management, Programming and ICT General Knowledge & Current Affairs.

SPaCS wishes to cordially invite all schools to participate in this year’s competition. It is hoped that the Quiz will generate interest in students to further their study of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and will introduce them to the important role ICT plays in our society.
