It is with much pleasure I write to inform you that SPaCS has been accredited as At-Large Structure (ALS) by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Last year we became member of SEARCC, and this makes it our second international affiliation. More details about ICANN AT-LARGE can be found at: http://atlarge.icann.org/
The ICANN ALS designation provides us the platform to contribute to Internet governance, and policy formulation pertaining to issues in our region. ICANN also has initiatives for capacity building through training workshops. I encourage members to apply for ICANN fellowships (http://www.icann.org/en/about/participate/fellowships).
